Day 1 Airport Transfer to your Hotel in Casablanca

Your 9-Day Morocco Tour from Casablanca start after arriving at CASABLANCA MOHAMMED V airport, then you’ll be greeted by a member of our team, then driven to your accommodation, the following morning, depending on your arrival time and how tired you are will visite the Mosque!

Day 2Casablanca ⇨ Marrakesh

After breakfast, visit the Mosque Hassan 2, we’ll then take the freeway to the wonderful and famous city of Marrakech. Check-in to your hotel nestled in the heart of the bustling medina, just moments away from the vibrant Jamaa El Fna square. After settling in, take Free time to unwind and soak in the atmosphere, immersing yourself in the rich tapestry of sights and sounds that define Marrakech.

Day 3Explore Marrakech

After breakfast at the Riad, you’ll find a local guide waiting to start your tour of Marrakech’s old town. The morning begins with a visit to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s landmark and inspiration for other buildings such as Seville’s Giralda and Rabat’s Hassan Tower. Your next stop is the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. Marrakech’s Saadian tombs date back to the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansure

The tombs were discovered in 1917 and restored by the Fine Arts Department. The mausoleum contains the tombs of some sixty members of the Saadian dynasty from the Draa River valley. After a lunch break, you continue to the famous Jemaa el Fna square, home to a range of dishes, snake charmers, local musicians and fortune-tellers. There’s nowhere on earth like Jemaa el Fna, the square at the heart of old Marrakech. You’ll also stroll through the souks and discover hundreds of handicrafts.

Day 4 Marrakech ⇨ Atlas Mountains ⇨ Ouarzazate ⇨ Dades Valley

 Start a new day by crossing the magnificent Atlas Mountains and the Tichka Pass (2260 m), offering impressive scenery in the middle of the Atlas Range to Ouarzazate, where many famous films have been shot, such as Alexander the Great, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, Operation Red Sea and many more…

The scenery is absolutely magnificent. We stop at the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most spectacular fortresses in southern Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch in Ouarzazate is the “Hollywood of Africa”, or the gateway to the desert as the Sub-Saharans call it. We continue our journey to the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual festival during the rose season in May. Spend the night with dinner in the Dades Valley.

Day 5Dades Valley ⇨ Todra Gorges ⇨ Merzouga

 After breakfast, we start our day with a drive into a kind of gorge: the Todra canyons (300 m at their narrowest point), where many climbers come to practice their favorite sport. Later, we continue our journey along the ancient Bedouin trade routes that run parallel to the Middle Atlas, passing through a series of fortified villages of exceptional pre-Saharan architecture. The road to Erfoud is one of the most pleasant of all the southern routes.

The town lies in a dry red desert and was built by the French as a central administrative city. It is known for its rich black fossilized marble. The stone is carved to highlight the fossils on everything from ashtrays to washbasins and much more. We head for the spectacular Merzouga dunes, where the sand dunes mark the beginning of the mighty Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert. We leave our vehicle and take a camel ride across the desert to a Berber camp. To make this an unforgettable experience, why not surf the Moroccan Sahara Desert and try sand dune boarding. After dinner, we gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night to the sound of traditional Berber music.

Day 6 Merzouga ⇨ Midelt ⇨ Azro ⇨ Fes

To witness one of the most beautiful sunrises in Morocco Sahara Desert Merzouga, you’ll wake up early before sunrise to admire the magical view with a cup of coffee. Have Breakfast in your Luxury Camp at Erg Chebbi.

 

After freshening up, a journey will take us to one of Morocco’s famous cultural capitals, the city of Fez. Along the way, we’ll meet barbarian Atlas monkeys in the immense cedar forest, then pass through the beautiful city of Ifran, or Switzerland. of Morocco as Moroccans call it, because of its architecture and cleanliness.

Day 7 Explore Fez with a Local Guide

This is Half-day guided tour of Fez. Fez is considered one of the most renowned cities in medieval Jewish history. It was once home to one of the most influential Talmudic students of all time, Rabbi Isaac Alfasi, as well as Maimonides in the years 1160 to 1165. Visit the Mellah with its synagogue. Fez is a secular and cultural hub with many facets.

The tour will take you back in time to Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world (even before Oxford or the Sorbonne). We’ll also visit the medieval medina with its Bou Anania medersa, the Nejjarine fountain and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Then, continue exploring the slender alleyways, home to numerous merchants and craftsmen selling a variety of wares including dates, fish, spices, copper urns and musical instruments.

Day 8 Fes ⇨ Roman ruins Volubilis ⇨ Chefchaouen

 Today starts with an early pick up from your accommodation in Fes, we drive then to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways, Later drive to Chefchaouen the blue city.

Getting lost in the narrow, unfrequented streets of Chefchaouen’s old town, with cats posing in front of incredibly sturdy indigo doors, many of which still retain their traditional old look… and elderly men in hooded coats, walking up and down the often blue streets and stairs, all in a pleasantly gentle setting.

Day 9 Chefchaoune ⇨ Rabat ⇨ Casablanca

On our last day of the 9-Day Local Morocco Desert Tour departing from Casablanca, After breakfast, we’ll set off for Casablanca from Chefchaoune, with a stop in one of Morocco’s imperial cities, Rabat to visit Hassan Tower, Later drive to drop-off by Casablanca airport or by your Hotel.
